The Xbox 360 has many accessories. Here is a brief description of some of them.
Battery chargers and battery packs
* Quick Charge Kit: your two rechargable battery packs can be charged quickly with this.
* Play and Charge kit: The wireless controller is connected into one of the USB ports and recharges at a slower rate. Playing the games can continue while the controller is recharging. A rechargeable battery pack is included in this package.
* Rechargeable battery pack: this nickel hydride battery pack should go for 30 hours when using wireless controllers for gaming. This is much better than non rechargeable AA batteries.
Steering Wheel
The Wireless Racing Wheel is a steering wheel with standard gamepad buttons. It has brake pedals and a floor mounted accelerator. You can use the rechargeable battery pack to operate the steering wheel. If you want to use the active resistance features and force feedback you will have to have an external AC adaptor.
Faceplates
The system comes with a standard white faceplate. You can get a custom faceplate design for around $20 online or on ebay. Skins and faceplates are an inexpensive modification many like to make on their Xbox 360.
Memory
You can obtain a detachable 20 GB hard drive to store your games, demos, music, player preferences, and all sorts of Xbox content. It is handy to use a drive like this to transfer data between Xbox 360 units.
You can also get smaller and prtable 64 and 256 MB memory units so that you can transfer saved data to other Xboxes. Transfer games, achievements, and profiles with this accessory.
Networking
There are several third party adapters along with the usual wireless networking adapter that can be purchased and go through the ethernet port.
Headset
Wireless headsets as well as any standard 2.5 mm socket hands free headset can be used. Many over the head headsets will even work.
